Trump threatens U.S. States - Back Israel or Lose Disaster Aid
The Trump administration is threatening to cut off life‑saving disaster relief to any U.S. state that dares to boycott Israel. Under a new Department of Homeland Security and FEMA mandate, states must pledge loyalty to foreign interests, certifying that they do not participate in boycotts of Israeli companies, or risk losing access to nearly $2 billion in disaster preparedness funding. In practice, this means if a state refuses to bankroll a regime currently waging a genocide in Gaza, its citizens could be abandoned the next time a hurricane, wildfire, or flood strikes.
This is not “America First.” It is America held hostage to Israel’s political agenda. By tying essential domestic aid to loyalty oaths for Israel, Trump has made clear that U.S. disaster policy now bends to Tel Aviv. States that stand on principle, refusing to reward companies complicit in the destruction of Palestinian lives, are punished. At the same time, taxpayers are forced to underwrite a policy that treats basic human decency as a disqualifying offence. In Trump’s America, if you refuse to endorse genocide, you risk being left to drown.
