Cindy Nguyen is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cogut Institute for the Humanities with the Department of History at Brown University. She specializes in SE Asia colonialism of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Her work looks at comparative empires, memory and diaspora, and the articulation of identity around gender, class, and nation.
