We pull billions out of hats for the refugees from Ukraine. But when it comes to our security, Green Liberal Roland Fischer warns of empty coffers

The Green Liberal Roland Fischer has repeatedly attracted attention in recent years as a dossier solid security politician - especially during his first phase as a member of the National Council between 2011 and 2015. As a captain in the Swiss army, he also has an idea of what is at stake. Then he wasn't re-elected.
In the last elections in 2019, however, he fought his way back into the national parliament.
Fischer has attracted attention again in the last few days, this time as a financial politician. The National Council's Security Commission is demanding an increase in the military budget by an estimated CHF 2 billion. The Lucerne GLP politician, now President of the National Council Finance Committee, expressed concerns to SRF that additional military spending could be at the expense of other government tasks.
Of course, he's right that you can't just talk extra money out of the blue. The army should say what they need these funds for. Under army chief Viola Amherd, it is quite possible that the billions will ultimately not be used to increase military effectiveness, but for daycare centers.
The disturbing thing about Fischer's objection, however, is that he turns a blind eye when it comes to spending on those displaced by the war. Caring for these refugees will cost us billions. Why isn't the GLP National Council from Lucerne questioning these expenditures?
Or should we ultimately save on our security so that we can finance the stay of thousands of Ukrainians in our country?

Switzerland has money for everyone, lots of money, just not for its own citizens and their security. An Iraqi academic I know once said: It's a shame that the CH government finds money for the whole world, but never has money available for its own poor and its own citizens. He knows that from no other country in the world. Fischer is one of these embarrassing parliamentarians and the Greens themselves don't have a penny for those whom we reward generously. Hypocrite!

Did anyone know Ukrainians before this war? Some will be surprised. How many homophobe and anti corona are moderately adjusted. I have fond memories of working in a hotel on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich. and the girlfriend of an illegal Ukrainian employee complained to me that Swiss men were sissies. She must know because she married a Swiss man for a passport. But came to the hotel twice a week. xxxx

Sorry, but what's liberal about Greens?
They act like totalitarian socialists.
See Corona, climate "protection", fight against right...

They're called, just like what's best compared to them, marriage swindlers, which too often they really are.

A Putin victim gets everything in Switzerland. That's where the billions flow. Or are they fleeing the Selinskyi, the traffickers in women and children, the organ thieves and the effects of the Deepstate with its biological weapons laboratories? Not a pleasant country, Ukraine. Hopefully it can only get better.

In my opinion, we should use the blocked currency reserves of Russia in the various countries to finance the huge costs of taking in the refugees from Ukraine.

Caring for these refugees will cost us billions...And? Behind Ukraine is the deep state of the Khazars and WEF gang, which also determines our politics 100% and controls everything. That means - money for refugees from Ukraine will flow without limits, and more will be squeezed by order. Cassis also has a vow against "the friend" Zelenskiy, who sees Switzerland as a banana republic and threatens the CH_economy. Anything more to say?

Absolutely right, the masses don't have the perspective at all, they are blind. Speaking of which, I've been amazed for a long time why that certain OberPlauderi from the WEF is still walking around freely because of his statements. Apparently he has his friends everywhere, on all higher floors, governments. Absolutely disgusting!

We don't lack military security, we don't lack the money for our retirees, our citizens help our disabled suva citizens, we have money to save for the whole world, here and there we invite refugees and finance questionable companies that pay their bosses millions in bonus payments received, but one who receives support from suva has to live at the bare minimum and pensioners have to leave the country. first you take care of your children then the neighborhood!

The left want to please beyond the borders of the EU, there are many more credits to be earned than with domestic activities.

Exactly, we in gastronomy were destroyed. In our special case - no hardship - what does that mean? New business, old numbers don't apply, no numbers in the new one, so make arrangements. It is clear that I am addressing corona management. All these idiots, sorry experts live like maggots in the bacon from our taxes and from the private sector, no idea that the Ukrainians are being helped, no question, just with what money? You fisherman! A rogue who thinks of resentment.

First, the ahv should be renovated. Stop with the AHV punishment for married couples. Helping is ok, but please look after your own people first.

Like that, in advance the SVP would have an interest in restructuring the AHV. keep dreaming It is better to vote on burqas and cow horns. All parties from left to right fail on this issue. I sometimes suspect that this is happening on purpose. You can drive the AHV to the wall that you can enrich certain circles even more.

Hubi Mooser hit the target again. The left, including the GLP, only want to save on the army and security in order to plunder the money pot with their do-gooder behavior. War expellees are quartered in luxury hotels, taxpayers and employees have to pay their living expenses and medical expenses. However, many of our compatriots have to sweep the franc twice before they can spend it. Left self-important do-gooders really get on my nerves.

Nesti and her mendacity gets on my nerves. What has the SVP ever done for pensioners? Nothing point nothing. Invited to the farmer's breakfast to get their vote, nothing is done for the pensioners. Your comment is just embarrassing. I live on pension with EL and do not let them abuse me to rush against war refugees. I also have to turn the franc 2 times and still I'm fine because I have a safe roof over my head and the necessary food. Shame yourself!

cough cough. The federal government has put more than 30 billion in the Covid sand. More will follow. Also: Going into debt is awesome = inflation. Because 1. The endgame of capitalism has been heralded (norberthaering.de) and 2. Cash is to be abolished. and 3. Welcome to the New Reality.

Don't worry, the Wef dictatorship doesn't stand a chance. The time of these satanists is up. Corona has already gone down the drain. And the black-and-white, childish war picture is only fictitious in the Swabian bible (lying press). Too many people no longer allow themselves to be lied to and no longer take part in the circus. The more people see through the perverse game, the less energy the Swabians have, who only live on the stupidity of the believers.

I'm sorry I didn't die of Covid like my sister and 2 of my cousins. So the federal government might have saved something and they would be happy now. I would like to apologize to you for this.

Only a few cranky super-egoists on the right side in or next to the SVP are against accepting these refugees (for the time being). These are from Europe, not much further from us than southern Italy. The Poles and Hungarians are already bearing the brunt.

I don't even think that the majority of the SVP base is against the aid measures for Ukraine refugees. Also by far not all SVPers support the Putin course of the Weltwoche. Köppel & Co are also a bit "fringe" within the SVP.
