North Korea gets blamed for sending forces across the de facto border (the 38th parallel) in June 1950, BUT there was serious armed conflicts between the two rival states going on before that, from at least August 1949, and happening north of the 38th parallel. What were forces from the South doing there, Denis, do you think?
