What does the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula mean?

What does the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula mean?

We need to define this and look forward to an agreement at the US-DPRK summit.
US President Donald Trump said that the date and place of the summit were decided, but he has not announced yet. There are several reasons why the US has not announced them. The most important reason may be the security issue. Others seem to be still coordinating with North Korea on the roadmap for the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
It seems that the US and the DPRK have differences in the interpretation of "denuclearization." North Korea insists on the "denuclearization of the Korean peninsula," while the US insists on "denuclearization of North Korea." Thus, it is necessary for Washington and Pyongyang to first agree on this. If there is no consensus, it is not easy for the two leaders to agree on a joint statement after the summit. In my view, if it is not coordinated, it would be a comedy to announce the date and place of the US-DPRK summit prematurely.
To discuss the denuclearization and the establishment of a peace regime, President Moon Jae-in will hold a US-ROK summit meeting in Washington, D. C. on May 22nd. An agenda would include the definition of the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
Also, the 9.19 Joint Statement (2005) agreed at the Six-Party Talks, explicitly stated that the denuclearization is the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. The implementation agreements, such as the 2.13 joint statement(2007) and the 10.3 agreement (2007) signed by the six parties were to implement the denuclearization of North Korea from 2005 to the end of 2008. Thus, the denuclearization of North Korea has been implemented by the implementation agreements.
It is regrettable that the Six-Party Talks have not agreed on the meaning of the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. North Korea has insisted that the entire Korean peninsula should be denuclearized. We hope that there will be an agreement on the meaning of the denuclearization at the US-DPRK summit.
