All those people who posting on social media '' Slava Ukraine " should watch this film , this only show that they have no idea what Ukrainian nationalism is all about . There are many young Ukrainians who are followers of Stepan Bandera ideology so this '' Slava Ukraine '' nationalism killed more than 100 000 civilians , including women and kids and Bandera is a '' hero '' for many of his followers . Hero who massacred women and children .... sick !Show less

@TofuBoi_ There are many good people in both Poland and Ukraine. However it is the government of a country that defines what that country stands for. The Ukrainian government has chosen to continue pushing the same Nazi agendas and ideologies that they did the '30s and '40s. Poland is the one who has changed sides and now support the illegal regime in Ukraine. Seemingly, they have forgotten what that very same group did to them back then! Most Ukrainians and also most Poles would not support this evil group if they were told the truth, but they have been deceived by western forces who don't give a damn about Ukraine or Poland. Their goal is to defeat Russia, at any cost, because Russia stands in the way of their "One World Government". And rather than start a war themselves they are using Ukraine as a proxy to try to take Russia down. The "West" (you know who I mean) is blackmailing the EU and other European nations to due it's bidding! The people of these countries are against what their governments are doing but those same governments are unable to stand up to the bully of the West! But things are about to change . . .Read more

The Poles also hear the threats coming from Russia, and remember Katyn forest, remember how their Soviet "Allies" watched while Warsaw was destroyed by the Nazis, remember the Poles who were taken to the gulags and concentration camps in Siberia only to be released when the Soviets needed them to help fight the Nazis, remember the Soviet suppression for decades after the Nazis were defeated. They remember the treatment of Piletcki, Navalny, and Father Jerzy. They remember the problems created at their border by Luka-Putin in the summer/autumn of 2021. They remember much more than you want them to remember, Che.Read more

Ukrainian hatred was not created in a vacuum. It was a result of the hatred and persecution they endured. Hate begets hate. Every side has blood on their hands

@extraterrestrialfascisti7625 They did not endure hatred and persecution from the Republic of Poland. Brutality was exchanged among the Ruthenian nobility erroneously called Polish and Ruthenian peasants on the territory of the Kingdom of Poland before 1772. After this year Poland ceased to exist until 1918.

@bhoward9378 According to IMDB, the original movie is 2:30 in length. So it looks like this version is missing 30 minutes of content.

After watching it, all you could say was "shame on Ukraine"? Looks like you never learned from the lessons of the film about racial and religious intolerance. It's actually people like you that were presented as problem in this film. You're one of them.

Fun Fact: Ukraine's genocide of 360,000 innocent Polish civilians was so brutal that even the Nazis and Germans were disgusted and horrified by the Urk's brutality. The Urks did things that not even the Soviets and Axis Powers had ever done. As a reward for this genocide and collaborating with the Nazis and helping them massacre over a million Jews, the Urks lost over 8 million people and were occupied by the Soviets after the war which is a lot less than what they actually deserved. And the fact Urk Nationalist veterans and Urk war criminals and genocidal monsters are still celebrated in Ukraine today is beyond horrifying and disgraceful in the eyes of the civilized world. The Urks did not learn from their history and they are DOOMED to repeat it.Show less

500 000, not 360 000. In the 1960s, according to official sources, there were over 500,000 victims of the bestial slaughter of the Polish agricultural population by the Ukrainians. On June 26, 1996, Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma publicly announced the same number. Atrocities were committed by the Ukrainian neighbors and UPA gangs.

Incredibly intense movie, especially the last 30 min. More people should be aware, specifically Westerners on Polish, Ukrainian, and Russian relations. And how history has a tendency of repeating itself, just in different formats.

Very tragic story. Heartbreaking. This went on pretty much in the shadow of war between Germany and Soviet Russia. Now Poland is helping Ukrainian refugees from the current conflict in Ukraine. I hope this will never be repeated. Never again.
