요전날의 TV 프로그램 「텔레비전 특수부」에서도 해외의 다큐멘터리 프로그램을 소개하고 있었습니다만,
보면 볼수록, 과연 역시 빌딩의 도괴는 자작 자연이구나라고 생각했습니다.
・WTC는 1970년대에 건축되어, 테넌트 수입이 좋지 않아, 유지비가 문제가 되고 있었던 것.
・건재에 석면이 대량으로 사용되어, 제거 작업에는 상당한 비용이 들고, 적자의 빌딩에 제거 비용을 내고 싶지 않는 것.
・빌의 오너가 테러의 몇 개월전에 테러보험을 WTC에 걸고, 테러 후에 80억 달러의 대금을 손에 들고 있었던 것.
보험을 거는 타이밍이 수상한 것. 게다가 터에 세워지는 프리덤 타워는 단 20억 달러의 투자이다.
이에 따라 소유자는 차액 60억 달러의 흑자를 얻고 있다.
・WTC와는 빌딩군을 분리하고 있던 같은 오너 소유의 제7빌딩이, WTC와 함께 부자연스러운 도괴를 하고 있는 것.
제7빌딩이 도괴하는 이유는 무엇 하나 찾아낼 수 없는 것.
・게다가 WTC도 제 7 빌딩도, 주위의 빌딩을 거의 손상시키지 않고 마치 계획 폭파한 것처럼 안쪽으로 쓰러져 넘어지고 있는 것.
・이런 도괴는, 빌딩 해체 현장에서 볼 수 있듯이, 폭약을 걸어, 인위적으로 행해지지 않으면 있을 수 없는 도괴의 방법인 것.
・제트기가 돌진해 빌딩 화재가 되었다고 해도, 빌딩의 철골이 용해되어 도괴하는 온도가 되지 않는 것.
・도괴현장에 폭약으로 사용하는 테르미트법이 사용된 형적인 철골과는 다른 철의 용해적이 보일 것.
・도괴에 맞추어 폭발하는 폭연을 몇 개나 확인할 수 있어, 폭발에 맞추어 도괴해 가는 모습이 영상에 다수 거두어지고 있는 것.
이렇게 질서였던 폭발은 철골을 따라 폭약이 걸리지 않는 한 있을 수 없는 것.
・테러전에 세심하게 어떠한 작업을 하고 있던 업자가 있었음을 증언하는 보고가 다수 있는 것.
게다가 내장 공사라고 했는데, 보러 갔을 때 내장이 아무것도 바뀌지 않았다는 것.
・소방관도 폭탄의 폭발하는 소리를 듣고 있는 것.
・테러전의 부자연스러운 주식의 「판매」주문. 테러가 일어날 것을 미리 알고 있었다고 밖에 생각되지 않는 것.
이상을 WTC에서 일하는 비즈니스맨이나, 월스트리트의 비즈니스맨,
각 방면의 대학 교수, 건축 전문가가 지적, 또 현장의 상황 증거로부터도, 부자연스러운 점이 취해지고 있습니다.
누구의 업무인지는 모르겠지만, 자기의 이익을 위해 3000명의 인명을 무위로 잃게 한 죄는 크다고 말할 수밖에 없습니다.

The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11 (2004) is a book written by David Ray Griffin, a retired professor of philosophy at the Claremont School of Theology. It draws analogies between the September 11 attacks and the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The title is taken from the 2000 paper "Rebuilding America's Defenses" produced by the Project for the New American Century, which asserted that only a "new Pearl Harbor" would enable the military and defense policy transformations the group desired to rapidly take place.[1]
The book was included in the official selection of 99 books made available to all members of 9/11 Commission[2] and was found on Osama bin Laden's bookshelf during the raid.[3]
Content
In the book, Griffin presents pieces of evidence and arguments which he believes support a conclusion that the George W. Bush administration was complicit in the September 11, 2001, attacks, and therefore constituted a false flag incident.[4]
The foreword was written by Richard A. Falk, professor emeritus at Princeton University.[5]
Part One of the book looks at the events of 9/11, discussing each Flight in turn and also the behavior of President George W. Bush and his Secret Service protection. Part Two examines 9/11 in a wider context, in the form of four "disturbing questions":
- Did US Officials have advance information about 9/11?
- Did US Officials obstruct investigations prior to 9/11?
- Did US Officials have reasons for allowing 9/11?
- Did US Officials block captures and investigations after 9/11?
Critical response
Chip Berlet, a critic of the book, argues that many of its claims are easily refuted and that there are many leaps of logic.[6] Griffin rejects such criticisms[7] and has debated Berlet.[8]
According to former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agent Robert Baer, writing in The Nation magazine:
Baer adds that Griffin's subtitle, Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11, "suggests this book is a search for truth, but don't let that fool you. His mind is all but made up."[9]
In January 2002, Baer wrote about the events of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in The Guardian "[D]id bin Laden act alone, through his own al-Qaida network, in launching the attacks? About that I'm far more certain and emphatic: no."[10] He later stated, "For the record, I don't believe that the World Trade Center was brought down by our own explosives, or that a rocket, rather than an airliner, hit the Pentagon. I spent a career in the CIA trying to orchestrate plots, wasn't all that good at it, and certainly couldn't carry off 9/11. Nor could the real pros I had the pleasure to work with."[11]

It's the updated one: David Ray Griffin's updated tome, "THE NEW PEARL HARBOUR REVISITED" ("The New Pearl Harbor Revisited" - US spelling) is the ideal companion volume to buy when you but this seminal work. This book bravely raised many of the big questions that have become the cornerstone to what really happened on 9/11. It's not just an inquiry into the oddities and outrageous coincidences that make the official theory so unbelievable, it's not just what U.S. Senators, and members of The House of Representatives say; it's what members of the 911 Commission now say:
Current U.S. Senator (Patrick Leahy) states "The two questions that the congress will not ask . . . is why did 9/11 happen on George Bush's watch when he had clear warnings that it was going to happen? Why did they allow it to happen?"

As a result of careful media spinning, the bizarre and unfounded notion of American exceptionalism, and overwhelming ignorance to any contradicting facts (be it self-willed or not), the majority of Americans still believe Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda were responsible for the 9/11 attacks. The people who still believe the ‘official story’ generally fall into three categories: 1) Patriots who still believe that America is ‘the land of the free and the home of the brave.' 2) Those who accept what their leaders tell them without a thought given to their various agendas and biases. 3) Those who react violently (emotionally) to any sort of ‘conspiracy theory’ in fear that what they’re spouting might actually be true. These three groups are in no way mutually exclusive. In fact, overlap is pretty much guaranteed. The main advantage that these people have over the ‘Truthers’ (a term that should not be a pejorative, but for some reason is) is that they don’t have to argue with facts. They can simply call the opponent a delusional nut-job and end things at that. It’s the burden of Truthers to lay down a compelling argument contrary to the ‘official story,’ and retired professor David Ray Griffin presents in two carefully researched volumes a wealth of damning evidence supporting not only American complicity of the September 11th attacks, but overall orchestration.
Griffin is an academic above all and is in no way a representation of the stereotypical conspiracy theorist whose dimly-lit basement walls are collaged with newspaper articles and yarn. He’s simply an educated man in search of the objective truth, as every American should be. Taking a level-headed and emotionally-detached look at the massive and varied array of evidence disproving the ‘official story,’ Griffin systematically shreds every single strand of the government’s poorly spun web of lies. He dissects the impossibility of the attacks themselves, rightfully concluding that all signs point to false-flag instead of the purported ‘massive communication breakdown’ as a result of incompetence (although incompetence was certainly in the cards when it came to the sloppy conception of the ‘official story.’) Beyond the highly incriminating and contradictory evidence presented by the government and media about the events of 9/11, Griffin culls both pre and post-9/11 history and collects the undeniable motives of perpetrating such a heinous crime and contrasts them with the results of Bush’s ‘War on Terror.’ He sheds light on the fact that the 9/11 commission investigating the attacks was 100% bias and government orchestrated. Along with this, Griffin presents a cast of tragic heroes, government workers who were bullied and silenced in their attempts to take an objective look at 9/11. Furthermore, he uses historical precedent (the thankfully abandoned Operation Northwoods, the sinking of the USS Maine) as a device to help the reader understand that the government is not above harming innocent civilians as a pretext for military action. All of these points and more are the building blocks of Griffin’s book, yet he doesn’t stop at these broad highlights. His in-depth and tireless research can be clearly seen in the 1000+ citations used in the book’s creation. Reading The New Pearl Harbor volumes and The 9/11 Commission Report back-to-back, it’s obvious Griffin’s research and objective standpoint make a far more compelling argument than the heavily-biased, narrow-minded, and government-backed Commission Report.
The New Pearl Harbor is probably the most important work of modern non-fiction not to be recognized by the general public. Why, one might ask, is this so? Simply put, Griffin doesn’t dance around the obvious like many political writers tend to do. Many commercially successful books have been written about the corrupt Bush administration and the oil agenda of the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, but while these writers seem very open to the widely publicized corruption and greed of the American Government in the Middle East, they neglect crucial facts about the event that kicked it all off. Why don’t they challenge the 9/11 ‘official story’ of the government they openly criticize as corrupt? Because they would be challenging the beliefs of over half of our nation, and that kind of reporting doesn’t sell books on a mass scale. Of course All the President’s Men was a huge hit, but Watergate was a kind of scandal that people could believe the government was capable of having perpetrated. 9/11, on the other hand, is a comparatively enormous scandal that blocks the common sense of Americans due to its sheer magnitude. We don’t want to believe it’s true, so we ignore any evidence that it might be. That’s why The New Pearl Harbor isn’t a bestseller, and that’s why wholly honest reporting is doomed unless reporters and writers can put ego, popularity, and financial gain on the back burner and focus on the unadulterated truth.

Author David Ray Griffin has done some extensive research on the events of 9/11 and raises a number of vital questions. Why didn't NORAD send up interceptor planes immediately when four planes were hijacked? On whose authority would these planes have been sent to investigate? If it was a commercial jet which struck the Pentagon, why weren't the engines or any other recognizable part of the aircraft ever recovered? How did the pilot of this plane who barely made it through flight school perform such perfect aerial acrobatics to bring this plane down to ground level and slam into the Pentagon? Why was the steel from the wreckage of the Twin Towers taken away, cut up and sold to China before it could be analyzed to determine why those buildings collapsed in 10 seconds? If you have wondered about any of these topics, I can highly recommend this book.

On its own, The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11 presents a very convincing case that the official version of events regarding the 9/11 attacks is, to put it bluntly, a pack of lies. Dispassionately and with a total lack of histrionics, David Ray Griffin makes a case which I guarantee you will find hard to argue with. When read in conjunction with Griffin's related work, The 9/11 Commission: Omissions and Distortions, the impression one is left with is that democracy no longer exists in the USA.
Ask yourself one question; how big a conspiracy are we facing, when a ostensibly democratic government could engineer a diabolically ingenious event such as 9/11 in order to give it the green light to wage endless wars of imperialistic aggression against whomsoever it wishes, and at the same time to gain the backing of official institutions, media and foreign governments, whilst ensuring its members make a nice fat profit into the bargain? Just how far, and how high, has the corruption spread?
The answer to that question is, as far as it possibly can. Any system which is corrupt at the top has to be, by its very nature, corrupt all the way up its hierarchy. Griffin wants to know why Marvin Bush was in charge of security at the Twin Towers? And he wants to know why the power went off the day before for an hour? Some say this is when the bombs were planted that took down the towers after they were hit by two planes.
And that raises more questions: why weren't Air Force jets scrambled to escort the first plane after it went off course? Worse, why weren't Air Force jets scrambled to escort the SECOND plane after it went off course? Scrambling jets when a plane goes off course is ROUTINE, so what happened?
And when jets did arrive, why did they come all the way from Florida? Florida is a state governed by a Bush, where President Bush was sitting in an elementary school classroom during all this. Griffin doesn't tell us where the mastermind Daddy Bush was.
The Pentagon was hit, not by a plane, but by a missile? Lots of questions around this one. One Pentagon official was happy that the newly reinforced section that was hit held up so well - "even the sprinkler system worked".
And lastly, the 4th plane was regained by the passengers. Cell phone conversations show that they took back the plane from the skyjackers. Then the plane was shot down by an Air Force jet's missile. The families of these victims are being bought off, but not all are settling for the millions and they want answers!
There you have it. Our government blew up the Twin Towers and blamed it on the Arabs. Then they invaded one of the poorest countries in the world, Afghanistan, because the Taliban had managed to stop opium production and the CIA depends on heroin sales to fund its covert operations. The U.S. is still occupying Afghanistan but record opium crops are being harvested now under the leadership of ex-Soviet drug lord Hamid Karzai.
Iraq was invaded next and is still occupied in the name of regime change for oil. Never mind that Saddam was installed by our CIA some forty years ago and that all that time the Iraqi people have suffered and died under U.S.-installed government; too many Americans want more Iraqis to die (even though they never did anything to us).
Why? The New Pearl Harbor has created hatred among the simple segment of American society against anyone Middle Eastern, French, non-Anglo. But Blair's constant companionship to George Bush should be a clue that something has gone wrong with America. September verwickelt gewesen sein muss.

When I first heard the rumors that the Bush administration was complicit in 9/11 I dismissed it out of hand. My main reason was that I thought it would have been way to risky; imagine what would have happened if they got caught!
David Ray Griffin's "The New Pearl Harbor" poses so many, many unanswered questions and unanswerable "coincidents" that the reader comes away pretty convinced. At least this one did. This issue is too important to just dismiss with "no, it couldn't be." And the facts Griffin presents speak for themselves.
The one issue that it doesn't deal with adequately is: "Why is it that the mass media has completely failed to deal with this, and why is it that Congress and the politicians have also failed to deal with it?" To answer this, one must delve deeper into the nature of this period, something Griffin does not set out to do. Despite this, the facts are all there for anybody to see. This is a "must read" for those who want to consider themselves well-informed on current affairs.

This is the place to start your education. Here's what I wrote to a friend recently. It is as good as anything at reviewing this book of Griffin's.
"I assume that you and the many others who continue to believe that Bush and Co. are "good guys", do so because you do not know what really happened on September 11, 2001. The whole edifice of the Administration's actions for the last 5 years rest upon that event. This is of course the rationale behind the so-called "war on terrorism".
"But, what if....what if the Administration was involved in the "terrorist" acts of 9/11? Then the whole edifice falls down. But that is what has so far saved Bush and Co. Americans can simply not believe that their Government could do so heinous a thing as to let all those people die in the WTCs. Hitler once said, however, that people will believe a big lie more than they will believe a small one. In that regard Uncle Adolf was right.
"It feels good to be, how did you put it?, comfortable? where you are. But unfortunately while you are being comfortable, this country is being turned into a military dictatorship (which is why Bush says that the Constitution is just a "goddamned piece of paper"). Look into 9/11 deeply. Just a little bit of delving will show you what I mean. The fact that there was no wreckage of any airliner at the Pentagon should be enough to convince anyone. Can you seriously believe the official story which is that the fire was so intense that it "vaporized" the plane? Even if the melting point of aluminum were so low that a jet fuel fire could "vaporize" it, it couldn't vaporize those parts of the plane that would necessarily have had to be outside of the building. The hole in the Pentagon was quite small in comparison with the width of a 737! I mean really!
Just think about it. I know it is hard to admit that things could be so messed up, but they are.

Once you can get past the horrified emotional response you had to the attacks and the sight of the buildings collapsing and so many people dying, you can start to look at things again but a bit more objectively. Not everyone will have the same timeline for that. Some will never get over the horror and will remain frozen by it. But everyone else should take another look. The "official story" of what happened on 9-11 is full of holes big enough to fly a plane through (if that's in bad taste, I'm sorry.)
You don't even have to read all of this book, though you will probably want to once you get started. The first two chapters are more than enough to convince anyone skeptical of the conspiracy theories. Just read up to page 65 or so and your entire outlook will change forever.
Griffin isn't on a witch hunt to persecute Bush or his administration or anyone else. He wants what we should ALL want -- for the world to open their minds, review these events with a more objective eye, and investigate these events more deeply.
The powers-that-be who were behind the conspiracy are very fortunate to have pulled off this terrible plan in our modern age. Increasingly the U.S. is a nation of undereducated sheep who believe everything they see and hear on television. Too many of us have lost the ability to think critically and engage in open and critical dialogue about the subjects that REALLY matter.
For too many Americans, if it ain't on "American Idol" they don't give a rat's behind about it. So way to go, you terrorists from both overseas and within our own walls! You pulled off the crime of the millennium and you had American apathy on your side to make it just that much easier. I guess that makes us complicit too, huh?

It's the most disturbing thing I've ever read. And I wept as I read parts of it. But if you want to sift through the evidence and interpret the data, then motivation to learn the truth should be worth the price of having your worldview rattled.

If 9/11 Mysteries is the 'best' video for raising questions about 9/11 in a systematic and compelling way, then surely 'The New Pearl Habor' by David Ray Griffin is amongst the 'best' (if not 'the best') of the *books* available.
In the same way as 9/11 Mysteries, the author carefully goes through accounts put forward by the Bush administration (or those close to it) and compares them to the accounts provided by other witnesses. Gradually, and systematically, he examines all the contradictions between different accounts. As a result, he persuasively argues that the Bush administration, and sympathetic news corporations, add to confusion rather than clarity.
In a compelling penultimate chapter, he reviews what a person would need to believe for a theory of 'incompetence' by the Bush administration to be sustainable. This is followed by a similar review of 'coincidence' as a plausible theory for the events of 9/11. In both cases, he shows how these theoretical positions are much more problematic (and difficult to believe) than a theory of 'complicity' by the Bush administration.
The language here is important. For Griffin, any theory involving people working together to attack the US on 9/11 is a 'conspiracy theory'. As he points out, the public are faced with choosing between believing a conspiracy theory put out by US government officials (involving 19 Islamic terrorists), and alternative conspiracy theories put out by its "critics" (theorising varying level of complicity by members of the Bush administration). The issue, therefore, is not whether there was a conspiracy or not, but whose conspiracy theory is more believable.
By following the evidence, Griffin makes the case for a full public inquiry.

How do I get my mind around the inevitable conclusion: that 9/11 was an inside job? All the rhetoric from Bush and Cheney about the evil-doers, the sub-humans who care nothing for human life and want to kill us: they are speaking of themselves. We have entered that phase of world history where global power is slowly, silently being seized by very evil men who stop at nothing to unfold their demonic visions. The people who died in the WTC and the Pentagon were murdered by their own govt.
A few facts from the book: The towers were full of asbestos and it was almost impossible to demolish them any other way. By pretending the collapse was caused by terrorism, citizens cannot sue Silverstein for lung damage. There seemed to be a lot of incentive on the part of the leaseholder, Silverstein, to bring them down.
There was an unprecedented fullpower shutdown the weekend prior to 9-11. All security cameras were turned off. This according to an IT guy for Fidelity named Forbes, Google him. He reported a lot of workmen with spools of wire cables that weekend, he was told that internet cables were being upgraded. Because he worked all weekend, he took Tuesday off and watched the towers collapse from home in NJ. He instantly thought it was related to the work down over the weekend.
Also, all bomb-sniffing dogs were removed from the premises 5 days prior to 9/11 -- that would be Friday. What would the dogs have sniffed if they had been there that weekend?

I've just spent an entire night and part of a day rereading and rereading Professor Griffin's thoroughly researched, judiciously argued, and incredibly disturbing book. Griffin takes on the task of investigating the official account of the 9/11 attacks, asking questions that beg to be asked, ferreting out inconsistencies in White House, Pentagon, and State Department reports, analyzing possible scenarios, and asking what kinds of evidence would properly address unanswered questions.
Griffin invites the reader to examine two possible explanations to account for the inconsistencies: the "incompetence" theory and the "complicity" theory. The former rests on the assumption that stupid mistakes were made both before and after the attack. The latter rests on the assumption that false official accounts were made about advance notice of the attacks and/or that after-the-fact obstruction of investigations took place. Griffin's conclusion is that it's reasonable to suppose that complicity rather than incompetence is the more likely explanation, and he painstakingly makes his case by examining five major challenges to the official version of what happened.
On the second anniversary of 9/11, Donald Rumsfeld made the shocking public claim that the attacks were really blessings "in disguise" (from the book's forward by Richard Falk). Rumsfeld's point was that the US was motivated by the attacks to ramp up its military strength; this was the "blessing" he referred to. But if even part of Griffin's analysis is on the money, the "blessing," which has led to great subsequent loss of life and expenditures of monies in Afghanistan and Iraq, is built on a deception.
A frightening, but not implausible, possibility.

If the evidence points in the direction that Griffin's analysis suggests, the current government of the United States is guilty of the highest crimes imaginable. It is vital to our democracy that this book receive the widest possible readership, and that the public demand answers to these questions.

Griffin's book is an essential contribution to raising the need for serious investigation of this crime of the century that has launched the USA into Orwellian Perpetual War.
There is no conclusive forensic evidence that Osama Bin Laden was responsible for 9-11, and a huge ocean of unanswered questions and impossibilities/implausibilities lies in front of us while the "Commision" plays with pretty stones on the shoreline.
- Why did WTC 7 fall (in 10 seconds, into its own footprint) ?
- Why does the Pentagon hole not fit the "Boeing" at all?
- Why no airport security cam shots of the hijackers (except the highly ambiguous supposed shot of "Atta"?
- How could these incompetent boxcutter "pilots" have pulled it off?
The mainstream media in this country is a shame and a disgrace. Now the New York Times is apologizing for not questioning the official case for Iraq war. But when any questions are raised about the USA mil/gov's story of "Boxcutter 9-11" the same response occurs "Go play on your grassy knoll in Roswell". Sorry that's not good enough when we are talking about Orwellian Perpetual War and our soldiers are having their eyes and faces shot off.

I was very surprised that a book of this magnitude would be published by a main stream publisher and be reviewed by a prominent cast of reviewers, like Falk from the Council on Foreign Relations.
Griffin has demonstrated great courage by writing such a meticulous book about a sensitive and controversial issue with excellent clarity and documentation, without fearing the punitive consequences that would ensue from writing such a book; especially, in these times where freedom of speech and personal liberty are gradually diminishing. Griffin has made his case clearly and sufficiently. His book will make you think on your own without the help of a television set or a newspaper. I hope that Griffin would be interviewed by the main stream media so more people will read his book, and begin to think for themselves, instead of having the media's talking heads doing the thinking for them. Unfortunately, So far no interviews and no publicity that I am at least aware of. I wonder why? Politically, black outs are better than censorship! Black outs negate the book and the author!! The controlled media does not report the truth to the public, because truth does not sell, but partial truth, canards, fear, conflicts, violence, and sex are always the big winners.
A Good book like Griffin's should receive the publicity it deserves. I hope, and I only hope that the media conglomerate will learn something about honesty, objectivity, and courage from Griffin!

It reveals and questions some very disturbing facts about the 9/11 attacks: the collapse of the WTC-tower 7 without being hit, the non-interception of the planes, the cancelling of travel plans by top Pentagon officials, the missile attack on the Pentagon, the buying of put options on airline companies in the stock market ...
For the author, there are only two possible conclusions: 'our government and military leaders were either incredibly incompetent or criminally complicit.'
In his foreword, Richard Falk quotes D. Rumsfeld who called the 9/11 attacks 'a blessing in disguise'.
A blessing for those who benefited mightily from those attacks: the Bush Administration, the CIA, the FBI, the Pentagon, the oil and weapons industry.
The attacks provided a perfect justification for the massive US defense budget and the tremendously juicy margins on military contracts. They provided also a perfect alibi for the launching of a geopolitical war of conquest as the author excellently explains by his analysis of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars.
Amid a muzzled and paralyzed press, the author expresses ultimately only one request with this balanced book: a thorough investigation of what really happened. But this seems now only wishful thinking.
This book is a must read for all those interested in world affairs.

Dr. Griffin has done a magnificent job of research and analysis on the evidence or lack of for certain stories regarding the 9/11 attacks.
There is no better book available that takes a reasoned and dispassionate look at the evidence without necessarily drawing any specific conclusion. He only looked at what he could demonstrate or prove.
This is great introduction to the evidence and the controversy over the "conspiracy theories" about 9/11. After this book I can't imagine any reader accepting the conspiracy theory about 19 muslim retards using boxcutters to flummox our multi-trillion dollar defense system and getting NORAD to stand down.
I've bought no less than half a dozens copies of this book because I lend them out and can't seem to get them back. Everyone who reads it wants to pass it along to someone else.
The facts contained here will is capable of convincing even the the dogmatic Kean/Zelikow commission supporter. Possibly even Kean and Zelikow (privately).

On 9/11, when I first heard of the attacks, the first historical analogy that came to mind was the German Reichstag fire, and how that "terrorist" act, later shown to be staged by the Nazi authorities, led to the passage of the Enabling Act and Hitler's ascent to dictatorial power. I have seen nothing in Bush's 9/11 conduct, from pushing the Patriot Act to waging aggressive war, that has persuaded me that any analogy other than this is more appropriate.

However, Griffin takes you through the ins and outs and arounds of many key points and questions (if only he could get Ahmed Shah Massoud's name right...the so called "Lion of Panjshir" deserves better). Griffin's philosophical approach is intelligent and informative and he also covers the grounds of 'complicity' v. 'coincidence' v. 'incompetence' in a way no other writer of 9/11 theory has.
