Stephen Kapos, an 87-year-old from Budapest who lost most of his family in the Holocaust, was in the centre as they walked up Whitehall.

“We want to stress our solidarity with the Palestinian people,” he said, adding that memories of the Holocaust should not be used as cover for Israel’s actions in Gaza. “The right wing has been claiming that there are no-go areas of London for Jews. We want to prove that’s wrong – we are very welcome here.”

It's horrific that the majority let's & causes the harming & worse of innocent & helpless children, of all people, to continue! And it's also horrific that the majority rejects and/or ignores this ugly truth as well!

There is no defence against the harmed & harmful majority! And there isn't even a small group of people, among billions, who is calling on the majority to stop perpetuating harm & worse, for an actual reasonable way of life that everyone actually needs - especially innocent & helpless children!

1% in Germany and

1% in my home country 🇦🇺 (of 26million) which means 1 in every 6 people in Australia is Jewish ? (but not in poor suburbs or vastly spread)

My grandfather fought against nazis in WW2 and we are all muslims in our family.

My grandmother protected 12 jews in her house for a long time when nazis invaded Belarus. It's heartbreaking to see that majority of the jewish people have forgot how helpless and needy they was. Later somebody informed nazis about my grandmothers house and they were all shot in front of her house. She passed at the age of 97 and until that day, she cried over that memory and always told me to never hate anybody because we are all from the same creator.

I'm so sad for your grandmothers loss. I find it all incomprehensible, and my heart bleeds for all the people and children in Gaza. I always think about the little girl of 6 yrs who was in the car with her parents when they were hit by the IDF and her parents were killed. She called the ambulance service, and they told her they were coming to get her. When they arrived, the IDF killed the ambulance men and also this little girl. I will carry this for the rest of my life. I can't imagine what these Palestinians are going through.

My grandfather fought against germany in ww2. North africa. El Al Emain. The british promised Palestine to be returned to them in return for being an ally during that war. After the war, Britain betrayed them and renegged the deal.
