Dear Korean Council of Religionists,
Greetings from Professor Desmond Cahill, chair of Religions for Peace
Australia and deputy moderator of the Asian Conference of Religions for
Peace. We send you our spiritual greetings to you and to the beloved people
of your nation from Australia. We congratulate you for the steps your nation
has taken in recent months to bring about peace on the Korean Peninsular and across the world.
I want to introduce to you Dr Sue Ennis, who will be visiting your country
in a North Korean Study Tour for Australasians (Australia and New Zealand)
Friends. She would like to meet you and members of your committee and share our common commitment to our region and global peace. She will be in Pyongyang from mid Saturday 13th October to early Saturday 20th October and will be staying most nights at Pyongyang Hotel. Her itinerary is attached.
She suggests, and evening meeting would be possible, or a day meeting if
that suits the Australian and Korean organisers of the tour.
She can be contacted by mail at her home 15 Smith Street, Richmond, 3121, Australia or by email at wcrpaust@iinet.net.au Religions for Peace
Australia's email address.
With many thanks,
Desmond Cahill, Emeritus Professor,
Religions for Peace Australia.
CC South Korean Religions for Peace Office, Sejin Pak the Australian
organiser of the tour
