Join us on the 14th January for the 2022 IKSU PG-led Roundtable 'Reflections of Korean Social Issues in South Korean Popular Media' at the University of Central Lancashire, UK.
In the last years, South Korean media has been in the spotlight and incited discourse on morality and inequality with works like 'Parasite' or 'Squid Game.' The frequent deployment of certain themes in South Korea's media reflects the urgency of such social issues. In this roundtable, the following scholars will be discussing this trend:

- Dr Sarah Son, University of Sheffield
- Dr Nikki Lee, Nottingham Trent University
- Dr Heekyoung Cho, University of Washington
The roundtable will conclude with an open discussion with Q&A.
